Pyrometers Optris CT Series - Small Head, Separate Box


The pyrometers of the optris CT series are equipped with one of the world’s smallest infrared sensing head with a high optical resolution of up to 75:1. The separate control box offers a high variability due to selectable analog outputs as well as several digital interfaces. The CT sensors have unique advantages for the installation in applications with high surrounding temperatures, such as within the metal, ceramics or glass industry. The robust and ambitious design allows the sensing heads to be used for temperatures up to 250°C without additional cooling. This advantage helps to reduce the costs for mechanical installations. The variety of different available spectral ranges makes the CT the ideal sensor for manifold application fields.

Pyrometers optris CT LT and CTex LT
The pyrometer optris CT LT is equipped with one of the world’s smallest infrared sensors with a high optic resolution of 22:1. Additionally, it offers a high variability due to selectable analog outputs as well as several digital interfaces in the electronics box. The extended version, the pyrometer CTex LT, is additionally equipped with Zener double barriers - for employment in explosion-prone areas.
Pyrometer optris CTfast LT for extremely fast temperature measurements
The pyrometer optris CTfast LT is perfectly suited for especially quick measurements, due to its extremely short response time of 6 ms. The unchoppered sensor allows a continuous temperature surveillance of fast processes in a spectrum of -50°C up to 975°C.
Pyrometers optris CThot LT for extremely hot ambient temperature
The pyrometer optris CThot LT has been developed for the most extreme conditions in high-temperature areas and is acclaimed for its especially high temperature resistance. Employment of the inrared thermometer in ambient temperatures of up to 250°C without additional cooling poses absolutely no problems.
Pyrometeres optris CT 1Μ/2Μ for high-temperature measurements of metals
Due to their short measuring wavelength and the high temperature range of up to 2,200°C the pyrometers optris CT 1M and 2M are ideally suited for employment in high-temperature measurements of metals, metal oxides, and ceramics. The short measuring wavelength of the infrared pyrometers additionally decreases measuring errors during low or changing emission levels

Due to its special spectral range of 3.43 µm, the pyrometer optris CT P3 is perfectly suited for precise temperature measurements of thin plastic films like PE, PP and PS.
