Infrared Camera Series VarioCAM® HD research 900
Geometric Resolution of 3.1 Megapixels Due to an Integrated MicroScan Feature
Storage of Fast Infrared Sequences with up to 240 Hz
In case of sudden temperature changes, the infrared camera VarioCAM High Definition provides a sub-frame modus (“subwindowing”) that is usually only found in cooled infrared cameras. The VarioCAM HD series allows recording of infrared sequences with frame rates up to 240 Hz. In order to reach such high frame rates, each time a defined section of the detector is being read.
Full-frame with (1,024 × 768) IR pixels: 30 Hz
Sub-frame with (640 × 480) IR pixels: 60 Hz
Sub-frame with (320 × 240) IR pixels: 120 Hz
Sub-frame with (1,024 × 96) IR pixels: 240 Hz
Combination of Various Camera Functions Ensures Effective Work
8 Megapixel Digital Camera
An integrated, automatically focusing digital camera with a resolution of 8 Megapixel, video function and LED video light for image illumination allows detailed as well as high-contrasted visual digital recordings.
Infrared optics and lenses
For VarioCAM® HD infrared cameras a broad choice of lenses and converters are available for various thermal imaging applications.
Each thermographic camera is individually calibrated for the lenses purchased with the camera. If you are changing the lens, the camera automatically detects the lens type and selects the corresponding calibration profile.
Lenses are available with IP54 proof bayonet
All lenses are manufactured by Jenoptik and come with sophisticated optical coating, for example anti-reflective coating or spectral-selective interference filters. Depending on lens type or focal length, some lenses are additionally coated with a highly resistant DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating for special surface protection.
