Pyrometers of the Optris Compact Series


Optris introduces new benchmarks within the area of industrial pyrometers regarding the size and robustness of the sensing heads. The miniaturized sensing heads are especially developed for the use in small and cramped surroundings and are perfect for applications with limited space, such as midgest instruments and engine constructions. The very advantageous cost-performance-ratio supports the integration of the pyrometers within OEM solutions and simultaneous use of the measurement devices at multiple infrared measuring facilities.

The compact series devices offer inimitable advantages for the installation in applications with high surrounding temperatures, such as within the plastic or paper industry. The robust and ambitious design allows the sensing heads to be used for temperatures up to 250°C without additional cooling. This advantage help to reduce the costs for mechanical installations.

Products OPTRIS
Pyrometer optris CS LT
The infrared pyrometer optris CS LT is perfectly suited for temperature measurement in small and narrow environments. The robust measuring heads have been developed for use in temperature ranges from -40°C to 1,030°C (– 40°F to 1886 °F) and can be employed in ambient temperatures of up to 80°C (176 °F) without additional cooling.
Pyrometer optris CSmicro LT LTH
The pyrometer optris CSmicro LT LTH is equipped with an innovative, miniaturized stainless steel measuring head, optimally suited for installation in limited spaces. Its small size and its temperature resistance up to 180°C make the mechanic integration of the measuring head especially cost-efficient.
Pyrometer optris CSmicro LT HS
The pyrometer optris CSmicro LT HS sets new performance standards in the measurement of slightest temperature differences of 0.025 K. Due to the stainless steel measuring head, it is perfectly suited for installation in especially limited and cramped spaces.
Pyrometer optris CSmicro 2Μ
The pyrometer optris CSmicro 2M has been designed for a temperature range from 250°C to 1,600°C. Its special spectral range of 1.6 µm makes it the ideal IR pyrometer for temperature measurements of metals.
Pyrometer optris CSmicro 3M for temperature measurement of metals and through glass
The pyrometer optris CSmicro 3M has been designed for a temperature range from 50°C to 600°C. Its special spectral range of 2.3 µm makes it the ideal IR pyrometer for temperature measurement of metallic surfaces starting from 50°C and it allows for measurements through glass.
Pyrometers optris CT LT and CTex LT
The pyrometer optris CT LT is equipped with one of the world’s smallest infrared sensors with a high optic resolution of 22:1. Additionally, it offers a high variability due to selectable analog outputs as well as several digital interfaces in the electronics box. The extended version, the pyrometer CTex LT, is additionally equipped with Zener double barriers - for employment in explosion-prone areas.
Pyrometer optris CTfast Lt
The pyrometer optris CTfast LT is perfectly suited for especially quick measurements, due to its extremely short response time of 6 ms. The unchoppered sensor allows a continuous temperature surveillance of fast processes in a spectrum of -50°C up to 975°C.
Pyrometers optris CThot LT
The pyrometer optris CThot LT has been developed for the most extreme conditions in high-temperature areas and is acclaimed for its especially high temperature resistance. Employment of the inrared thermometer in ambient temperatures of up to 250°C without additional cooling poses absolutely no problems.
pyrometer optris CT 1M 2M
Due to their short measuring wavelength and the high temperature range of up to 2,200°C the pyrometers optris CT 1M and 2M are ideally suited for employment in high-temperature measurements of metals, metal oxides, and ceramics. The short measuring wavelength of the infrared pyrometers additionally decreases measuring errors during low or changing emission levels

Due to its short measuring wavelength and a temperature range from 50°C on, the pyrometer optris CT 3M, is ideally suited for employment in low-temperature measurements of metals and composite materials. The quick response time of only 1 ms allows for a problem-free use of the metal thermometer in fast processes.

Due to its short measuring wavelength and a temperature range from 50°C on, the pyrometer optris CT 3M, is ideally suited for employment in low-temperature measurements of metals and composite materials. Due to its special spectral range of 3.43 µm, the pyrometer optris CT P3 is perfectly suited for precise temperature measurements of thin plastic films like PE, PP and PS.

Due to its special spectral region of 7.9 µm, the innovative pyrometer optris CT P7 is perfectly suited for temperature measurements of thin plastic materials like PET, PU, PTFE, PA or CTA
